US Judge Commends Uganda on BUBU
A New York State Judge Frank J. LaBuda has commended Uganda for coming up with a policy on promoting local content, saying this is the way to go if Uganda is to resuscitate her economy. Meeting on Escalating Sugar Prices
On Friday 12th May 2017, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives Hon. Amelia Kyambadde officially briefed the press together with the leaders of sugar Manufacturers Associations on the increasing sugar Prices and government position on the same. The press briefing followed a meeting with the Sugar distributors, wholesalers,retailers and the sugar millers. On Thursday 11th May 2017, Hon. Amelia Kyambadde met the EU Ambassador/Head of Delegation to Uganda Ambassador Kristian Schmidt at the Ministry of Trade Industry and cooperatives. On Wednesday 10th May 2017, Hon. Amelia Kyambadde the Minister of Trade Industry and cooperatives attended Dinner with the Swedish business community in Uganda at the residence of the Swedish ambassador in Uganda. The dinner brought together Swedish companies in Uganda and Ugandans doing business in Sweden.
