Kenya and Uganda Sign Mutual Recognition Agreement for Conformity

Gen. Mbadi Calls for the Elimination of Non-Tariff Barriers in EAC Partner States

Wilson Mbasu Mbadi has urged the eight East African Community Partner States to remove all the existing nontariff barriers and allow unhindered trade amongst themselves. Uganda and Kenya have agreed to eliminate all existing tariff and non-tariff barriers hindering cross-border trade between the two countries. This was during the bilateral Ministerial Meeting between Hon. Gen. Wilson Mbasu Mbadi, Uganda’s Minister of State for Trade, and HE.
