Prime Minister Launches BUBU
The Rt.Hon.Dr Ruhakana Rugunda the Prime minister of Uganda today the 2nd of March 2017 Launched the BUBU polic, the BUBU implementation strategy and the Framework for the Implementation of BUBU .
The main objectives of the policy is to promote the consumption and use of local goods and services, increase the local content in government procurement and create awareness for consumers to buy locally produced goods and services.
BUBU is a landmark policy, whose successful implementation will contribute to job and income creation, increase the competitiveness of our products, and consequently reduce our country’s trade deficit.
