Vision

To be a one stop centre for producing quality statistics for the entire Trade and Industry and cooperatives sector

Mission

The mission is “to develop a coherent, reliable, efficient and demand-driven Statistical System that supports management and policy formulation” in the sector.

Strategic Objectives

Achievement of the above Mission will be a function of the following three strategic objectives:

i: Coordinating the management of trade, cooperatives and industry related data/ information.

ii: Strengthening capacity for collection, analysis and dissemination of data from public and private sector institutions.

iii Acquiring Statistical programs for data management.
